Woolworths Meadowbrook is a newly constructed retail development in Loganlea across from the Logan Hospital. Leisuretex Painting Contractors were contracted by Adco Constructions to complete the external and internal painting of the retail complex and internal painting of the Woolworths Supermarket.

Internally the painting works completed are standard for any retail store or particularly supermarket; the food handling areas are painted with gloss paint to ensure easy clean, with the rest of the supermarket being standard painting work.

However externally, the complex paint work is performed. This Woolworths store had a feature stripe wall painted on one wall. These stripes are measured and painted by hand by our painters in stages. The first stage the base colour coat is applied, then the second colour slightly darker shape is measured, drawn and painted, then finally each individual stripe is measured and painted. These works are completed using a scissorlift as the painters need to be able to easily move up and down to ensure the lines are perfect and even.

Other works performed externally included an anti-graffiti coating applied to the building exterior, painting of the feature grey panels and staining of the timber beams.
